Joey Mitchell is a veteran radio air personality in the Sacramento area since 1975.  Heard throughout Northern California for almost twenty years on 50,000 Watt clear channel country music giant KRAK 1140 AM, Joey.s audience spanned an area centered in Sacramento that reached from Reno to Bakersfield. Many of his audience literally grow up listening to him.  KRAK was eventually  sold to the Disney Radio Network which meant the end for the legendary country music station.  Joey  then joined COOL 101.1 FM playing Oldies for two years and then Oldies station KOOL 101.9 FM for another two years. Joey began doing mornings with Mark Standriff on 103.9 FM The Fish.   Due to Salem Broadcasting budget cuts across the country, Joey's last broadcast on The Fish was in October, 2005.
